What is a business exterior?

How do I paint a business exterior? Easily explained.

1. Pressure wash first, make sure it's cleared of debris and other dirt.

2. Let it dry before doing any prep.

3. Tape off the work zone. Put up hazard plastic and block off the area from cars being near it.

4. Prep work - inspect for areas to tape, mask, plastic off, cover, repair, patch, texture, caulk, and replace.

5. Prime any dead paint spots. Latex is normally fine, but check if you're unsure.

6. Use a latex paint by sprayer or brush and roll.  Depends on the area you're painting and what type of material you're painting.

7. Back-rolling may be wise to help extend longevity.

8. Let it dry for a couple of days.
