Schedule with us for the 2025 season and get free trim paint on your next project! Call now: 208-230-3542
At your appointment, we'll be covering the details of the project. This will include specifics like what you want painted, when, how, the color, the product, everything! We will do a walkthrough with you and give you an estimate which will provide an exact price, a time period for the work to take place, and have all the detailed specifics listed, so there's no confusion as to what we spoke about. We'll then be able to give you a paper copy, and if you choose, an emailed one. Then once presented and you've agreed to work with us, we'll lock your spot in, place a deposit to cover most of the materials we'll need to purchase, and keep in touch until you're up next.
We will start by preparing the walls. This will include caulking, scraping, sanding, priming, taping, using paper, plastic, or cardboard, and making sure the walls are prepared to take paint. We will have a designated area for trash and waste on site, so your home is still clean during the project. From here, it's side by side depending on what we're working on. This is usually in the form of protection of your windows, roof shingles, foundation, and plants. From here, we begin our painting.
By far the best part of the process. Painters enjoy painting. Depending on what the job entails, we'll likely begin with the color being used the most, which is normally siding and soffits. We typically spray soffits no matter what, but it's your choice on how your siding gets painted. From here, we'll move onto trim and complete all the smaller parts of your home. Our process is thorough as well, as we'll be inspecting your home each day for any possible touchup areas, so by the time we complete it, we won't have any to worry about.
Once we're done and the work has been inspected, we'll make your home back to how it was before the project started. We will inspect each side, collect any waste, throw it away, bag it up, and haul it with us as we leave. You'll get your leftover paint, labeled in marker if you desire, and the instructions on how to store it properly. We will take our final photos, load up our vehicles, give you your final invoice and proof of work document, a date for the warranty to be active, and finally, we'll send you the photos from the beginning to the end so you can show them to friends and family also.
